Anyone needing a holiday in the Rhine metropolis of Düsseldorf doesn’t have far to fly, as a taste of Bali is now within reach. On 20 February 2017, after a year in construction, vabali spa Düsseldorf opened its doors on the shores of the city’s Lake Elbsee. 13 saunas, two pools and numerous relaxation rooms promise recreation at the highest levels. And it’s all available in harmony with unspoilt nature. This is where body, mind and soul withdraw for a needed respite from hectic life in the big city.

GOSSIP+ Public Relations already organised the exclusive opening festivities on 16 February 2017 with some 900 guests from politics, business, film and television. Among the guests were Thomas Geisel (Lord Mayor of the City of Düsseldorf), Birgit Alkenings (Mayor of the City of Hilden), fashion designer Thomas Rath, Marvin Albrecht, actors Tom Beck and Miloš Vuković, models Anna Hiltrop, Vanessa Fuchs and Ira Meindl, hosts Mola Adebisi, Gülcan Kamps and Nela Lee, and social media star Farina Opoku (blogger Novalanalove). This was preceded at around 6:00 p.m. by an exclusive press tour, offering more than 60 editors a first glimps of the impressive sauna and wellness landscape.
